CryptoCurrency Storage in 2020 and Beyond

Have you adopted Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies into your portfolio?

With the growth in Bitcoin since it's launch in 2008, and especially in the last few years, it has become widely adopted. Many investment services now allow you to buy sections of bitcoin that can add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are kept on a private key, that if found in the wrong hands can lead to the loss of all your funds. So the question becomes, how do you maintain the privacy and security of your cryptocurrency that you bought it for in the first place.

There are a few different options, and if you already have bitcoin, you're probably well aware of them.

First off is a standard paper wallet, this means your Private Key is printed out and stored in a secure place. Generally thought of as pretty safe unless you have people you don't trust snooping around your house.

The least secure option is a cloud-based application for your smartphone. This would allow you constant access to your Private Key but at the risk of the internet. Convenient? Yes. Easily hacked? Also Yes. Unless you are planning on using CryptoCurrency for most daily transactions, this should be your last storage plan.

Alternatively, you can store a native software wallet on your smartphone or laptop. This still is not the most secure but has more security than a cloud-based version and at least you can focus on your security measures on a single device. However, these are just as susceptible to attacks, such as this recent one aimed at Android Users.

If you choose to store your BitCoin on a Cloud-Based or Software Wallet, a Faraday Sleeve for your Phone, Tablet, or Laptopis a necessity. This will give you privacy and security while you're out of the house and block any potential attackers.

Finally, a hardware wallet offers you the most security for your cryptocurrency. These are made with the individual's security in mind and can hold multiple currencies at once. With this, you can ensure that your funds are safe and solely accessible by you.

As CryptoCurrency has surged in popularity, we thought it only fitting to bring our product to that space. The Faraday Sleeve for Hardware Wallets is specially sized for the common crypto wallet, giving the user an extra layer of security. The Bluetooth ones will be completely cut off from the outside world until needed and it will protect your funds in the case of an EMP blast.
