As distracted driving cases are on the rise daily, with over 1,000 people being injured per day, AAA is next up to make steps to combat it.

The American Automobile Association have started changing their advertising at gas stations to reflect the influx of distracted driving. Based on the don't drink and drive messages, the new AAA ones mention both and say:

"Don't drive intoxicated.

Don't drive intexticated."

A recent poll indicates that Eighty-Nine percent of all drivers worry that others on the road are not acting in the best interest for everyone.

AAA hopes that these messages are little indicator that people may need to put their phone away while they get to their next destination.

If putting your phone next to you is too much of a distraction, we recommend putting your phone in a Faraday Sleeve. That way it is still somewhat accessible but also takes more effort than just reaching over to grab your phone while at a stoplight.
