Tablet bag

Great quality, just what i was looking for.

I have no complaints. The pouch meets my needs, no signal leaks, it just works, cannot ask for much more

Safe from hacker neighbor

I have hacker neighbors always in my iPhone, iPad and other devices they have locked me out of my devices so this is helpful when my iPhone is on or off just hope the pouch lasts with the constant opening and closing on the Velcro. I purchased two phone bags two laptop bags one I use to cover my modem. Overall it helps to reduce signal would love to have a bag for my router and modem that breathes because it gets really hot and I have to have a fan near the opening.

The cross body bag is way too small and I can only put two iPhones with no cases inside.

Hands on with the E3 Faraday Crossbody Organizer Bag

Regardless of what you do in this world there are those who find value in the sale of your privacy. I personally as an advocate for personal privacy chose to make myself as difficult as possible to exploit. The majority of rebuttals I hear is that people claim they have nothing to hide but I would disagree. For even those with nothing to hide the value of privacy is that it is your own to give or keep not for some other entity to line their pockets with. Rogues are never easy marks so I was very excited to see this product from SLNT.

The Faraday Crossbody Organizer ($150) is part of SLNT’s E3 collection which has a backpack, tote, and this piece made with not just security but sustainability in mind. Each Crossbody organizer is made of “premium and sustainable Challenge ECOPAK® Sailcloth material. ECOPAK® is a 100% recycled fiber material tested in the world’s harshest environments, with ultra-durable weather-resistant coatings made from the equivalent of 4 recycled bottles.” (Source: SLNT website)

What I like about the bag is that it’s clean and has a good system for organization and segmentation for whatever the day brings. There are several molle lashing points on the front of the bag great for a dangle or two and a hat if you want to run dirty. The bag has a slick look without being overly tactical. Whenever possible a thing should have more than one use. This bag can serve as a waist pack, grab bag, and crossbody carry. The more options you have the more uses we can devise. The strap has a fidlock release point and stows nicely and with relative ease making the transition from modes of carry not laborious. The strap is also thick enough to not be an easy victim of a cut and run robbery.

With dual zipper closure the bag opens wide enough to open all the nooks and crannies but not so much that it can flip open and dump the contents on the floor just as you’re about to make your move. The mesh is soft and expands enough to allow you to stow more than you probably should but that sort of things happen. Its also see through so you can find what you’re looking for especially against the light tan lining of the bag.

The faraday phone sleeve is where the bag really shines. Magnetic closure takes the place of the old school super secret ninja bag openings we used to have on other products by other makers. The sleeve is big enough for my iPhone 14 Pro max and iPhone 11 at the same time. Even when the final fold is up my devices were unable to receive calls or messages. In a pinch I could probably still shove my AirPod Pros in if I had to. The sleeve slides into grooves and uses magnets to stay in place with a very satisfying snap.

What I would change or improve on - Its stand off isn’t minor especially when on your back. In most cases though its on the front of your body to prevent unwelcome entry. A preference for me would be to make the bag longer but reduce the height off the body. A longer but lower profile would be a bit more suited to my needs but this is just a personal point of preference. Also the branding while subtle is distinct and I would opt for a lesser brand of advertisement perhaps a small label on the magnetic closure loop.

Overall this bag is a great solution to get out and about without bulging pockets and travel where you don’t want to broadcast your personal information be it RFID cards, your personal electronic devices (PEDs), or passport information. While this item is made in Vietnam you can shop SLNT’s list of berry compliant items if that is a procurement requirement your organization has. I plan on ordering more items from them like the duffle bag and maybe even the backpack so get subscribed so you don’t miss a thing.

Last but not least thank you for SLNT for the discount code roguedynamics for our rogues in the wild.
