At SLNT, giving back isn’t a marketing move, it’s a core part of who we are. Our mission has always been to empower humanity to reclaim their right to disconnect. That means building gear that fits into everyday routines while protecting your digital privacy, security, and health. When we see organizations risking everything to do good for humanity, we don’t cheer from the sidelines; we gear them up and find ways to support.
That’s why we’re honored to support theSentinel Foundation—a nonprofit thatfights child exploitation and human trafficking through real-world operations. Their team works across the globe, tracking traffickers, rescuing exploited children, dismantling criminal networks, and training law enforcement to fight back. These aren't desk jobs, these are boots on the ground missions in unstable regions, where your tech, your data, and sometimes even your life are at risk..
Sentinel Foundation brings together elite veterans from Delta Force, Army Special Forces, federal law enforcement, and the intelligence community. They combine special operations tactics, cyber intelligence, and old-school fieldwork to find the people no one else can and save the lives others overlook.
Their mission is simple: protect the vulnerable, confront the predators, and train others to do the same.
In 2024 alone, Sentinel successfully evacuated 59 disabled and at-risk children from Haiti in a high-risk extraction mission getting them to safety and medical care when the world turned its back. They've trained hundreds of law enforcement officers globally in anti-trafficking techniques. They’ve responded to humanitarian crises in places like Ukraine and Gaza, always putting people first. They are a quiet force for good in a world full of chaos, and that's exactly why SLNT stands with them.
We’re Honored to Outfit the Men and Women of Sentinel
When Sentinel deploys, we deploy with them, through gear. We donated SLNT Faraday gear to equip their team and partners for the mission ahead. From signal-blocking backpacks to sleeves and inserts, our gear helps keep their communications secure and their presence undetected in high-risk zones.
“We want to give them every advantage in environments where being off the grid isn’t optional—it’s critical.” - Aaron Zar CEO
How We Got Introduced to Sentinel
We metRyan Montgomery, or as many know him, @0day, at DEF CON last year, and it didn’t take long to realize he’s one of the good guys. A top-ranked ethical hacker, Ryan uses his skills to go after the worst actors on the internet: predators, traffickers, and the networks that protect them.
As theChief Technology Officer of the Sentinel Foundation, Ryan is bringing the cyber battlefield to their side. He uses his deep knowledge in cybersecurity, the dark web, and digital investigations to help locate, identify, and dismantle trafficking operations from the inside out.
He’s living proof that when hacking skills meet real-world purpose, you can change lives.
Doing Good Is a Team Sport
We believe in backing the best people and organizations that move with purpose. The Sentinel Foundation doesn’t just respond to crises. Theyrun toward the danger, armed with training, experience, and grit. Every mission they take on is one more strike against exploitation, one more rescue, one more life changed.
At SLNT, we’re proud to play even a small part in that bigger fight.
