Pulse Check: Your phone isn't idle. Even face-down on a table, locked in your pocket, or sitting in a bag, it's transmitting. GPS coordinates. Bluetooth identifiers. WiFi probes to networks you connected to months ago. Cellular handshakes with every tower in range. Data brokers, ad networks, license plate readers, and retail beacon systems are all listening. And none of them asked for permission.
Most people think adjusting settings buys them privacy. It doesn't.
Airplane Mode isn't airtight. iOS and Android devices have been documented continuing Bluetooth and WiFi background processes even with Airplane Mode enabled. The toggle tells apps to pause. It doesn't silence the radio hardware.
VPNs protect content, not location. A VPN encrypts what you send over the internet. It does nothing about the GPS ping, the BLE broadcast, or the cellular tower handshake happening at the hardware level, simultaneously, continuously.
WiFi probing builds a movement history. Even without connecting to a network, your device sends probe requests to remembered SSIDs. Those requests carry your device's MAC address and a history of networks you've used. That data is being logged by passive scanners in malls, airports, transit hubs, and city infrastructure.
RFID skimming requires zero interaction. Your cards and passport are broadcasting readable signals in your pocket. An attacker with a reader in a crowded space doesn't need to touch you.
Software trusts the system. The system isn't working in your favor.
No setting. No app. No firmware update.
The only way to stop a radio signal is a physical barrier.
SLNT® Faraday gear uses patented conductive shielding to block GPS, Cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, RFID, and NFC completely. Not throttled. Not filtered.Eliminated. Your device goes electromagnetically dark the moment it's inside the enclosure.
That's not a feature. That's physics.
Daily carry. Phone goes in an SLNT® Faraday phone sleeve when you don't need to be reached: commutes, meetings, anywhere you're not actively using it. No pings, no probes, no passive tracking.
Key fob protection. Relay attack devices can clone your car's fob signal from a distance. Drop the fob in an SLNT® Faraday sleeve at home and on the move. No signal means no clone.
Card and credential defense. RFID/NFC skimmers work in seconds in crowded spaces. An SLNT® Faraday wallet kills the read before it starts, no tap required from the attacker's side.
Spec Note: SLNT® Faraday enclosures block all incoming and outgoing wireless signals. They do not disable your device's internal microphone. Audio may still be recorded locally while inside the bag. What's blocked is the wireless transmission of that data until the device is removed from the enclosure.
A Faraday enclosure works by distributing electromagnetic charges across a conductive shell, canceling the fields inside. SLNT® products are independently tested to block GPS (1.5 GHz), Cellular (700 MHz to 2.7 GHz), WiFi (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth (2.4 GHz), and RFID/NFC (13.56 MHz).
Software can be overridden. OS-level processes can bypass user settings. A physical barrier cannot be patched around. If the signal can't leave the bag, the data can't be harvested.
You didn't sign up to be tracked every second of the day. But the infrastructure built around your device assumes you're always available, always visible, always broadcasting.
You can opt out. Not with a setting. With a choice.
