Operations Support

Mission

The mission of Operations Support is to ensure products move efficiently from manufacturer to warehouse to customer with speed, accuracy, and cost awareness. This role supports the operational backbone of the business by maintaining strong logistics coordination, clean data, reliable fulfillment, and smooth cross team execution as the company scales.

Success in this role looks like predictable operations, accurate inventory flow, dependable systems, and strong alignment between internal teams and external partners.


Production and Product Flow Support

  • Coordinate sending and receiving product samples, packaging, and print materials
  • Track SKUs as they move through development, production, launch, and sunset
  • Support production timelines through clear tracking, documentation, and communication

Supply Chain and Purchase Order Operations

  • Organize and track ocean and air shipments for inventory replenishment
  • Maintain visibility into purchase orders' status and details
  • Ensure products are received accurately and discrepancies are resolved quickly
  • Communicate clear PO status updates across teams

Inventory, Data, and Systems Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate product and inventory data across multiple platforms
  • Manage SKU setup and updates as products move through lifecycle stages
  • Ensure inventory syncing and accurate receiving at the 3PL
  • Audit systems regularly to maintain clean and reliable data
  • Own master product files
  •  Support automation and workflow improvements to reduce manual error

3PL and Fulfillment Operations

  • Support day-to-day communication and accountability with the 3PL
  • Assist with inventory forecasting and order volume planning
  • Help maintain fulfillment accuracy across DTC, B2B, and Amazon
  • Create and maintain warehouse-facing SOPs
  • Support customer service with returns, exchanges, damaged, missing, or incorrect orders

Returns and Post Purchase Operations

  • Support returns workflows and reporting
  • Assist with partner integration
  • Ensure clear documentation and communication around post-purchase issues
  • Review faulty or defective returns and support supplier credit reconciliation

Cost Awareness and Efficiency

  • Track freight, duty, packaging, and fulfillment costs
  • Support cost reduction initiatives across shipping and operations
  • Identify inefficiencies that impact margin, speed, or customer experience

Cross Team Coordination

  • Ensure operational data supports forecasting and reporting
  • Communicate clearly across teams to reduce friction and surprises
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed
